Niet prettig zittende hijab

De burkini heb ik gekocht, omdat ik het belangrijk vond om juist bedekt te zijn en het water in te kunnen. Een aantal punten waar ik ontevreden over ben is de hoofddoek. Deze zit niet prettig en bedekt veel van het gezicht of de haren steken aan de zijkant eruit. Ook had ik liever een losse sjaal gehad zodat ik deze over mijn boezem kon trekken. Als je gewend bent Khimaar te dragen of een lange hijaab, zul je steeds de stof vanuit de binnenkant naar buiten moeten duwen om beter bedekt te zijn. Wat wel fijn is, is dat de broek die tijdens het zwemmen bleef op zijn plek en het bovenstuk lang genoeg is (mijn lengte 1.58).
